Claude Debussy voulait écrire une transcription de l'œuvre pour flûte et piano. Mais c'est Gustave Samazeuilh, que connaissait Debussy, qui la réalisa. Elle est publiée chez Jobert en 1925. Il existe au moins deux autres: une de J. Galway et une autre de Karl Lenski chez Universal Edition (UE 17299).
