Description Edit

Thomas Weelkes' madrigal As Vesta was from Latmos hill descending. Compiled in 1601 by Thomas Morley as part of a collection of madrigals entitled 'The Triumphs of Oriana'. A textbook example of word painting with the music.

Ripped from a live recording of the King's Singers.

And yes, I am well aware it is not being sung in G minor as indicated by the score!
